Cortijo Buena Vista is a small country house - 2 rooms - which has been entirely refurbished. Situated in the splendid valley 'Rio de la Miel' ('honey river'), it offers breathtaking views to the surrounding mountains and to the sea.
Cortijo Buena Vista has a 11000 m2 grounds planted with many fruit trees: oranges, lemon, avocados, mangos, figs and prickly pears that visitors are free to eat. The landlord, a woman native of the area, will be happy to offer at their arrival fresh eggs from her hen house or provide them with fresh bred made in her traditional oven.

Rio de la Miel is a Natural Park; from the dominating terrace of the house one might be able to see some of the many wild animals living freely in Valley: wild goats, foxes, boars and a huge variety of birds. Excepted on Sundays when some neighboring houses could have some visit, calm is total, only slightly disturbed by the whispering river in the valley.
The surrounding mountains offer unlimited possibilities for walk/trekking, from a 1 hour walk to a whole day excursion. At 5km, the beach 'playa del Molino de Papel' - part of the Natural Park - is known for its very clean waters and appreciated by local fisherman for its rich water life.

While being situated in a totally preserved environment, Cortijo Buena Vista offers lots of comfort - including air conditioning and satellite dish - and is located at only 15 minutes from the shore and about 20 minutes from Nerja and its many shops and services.
